Healthy, refreshing and delicious: Our Power Smoothie

The end of the Holiday season can leave some of us feeling like we need to reset. One of our favourite ways to start eating a little healthier and ensure that we’re getting good nutrients is through smoothies.

This “Power smoothie” is packed with oatmeal and dates and other delicious fruits that give us energy throughout the day and keep us filled. It also tastes great, so it truly feels like you’re treating yourself to something delicious that makes you feel good inside out!

Here’s how to make it:

Ingredients & Preparation:

10 dried and pitted dates

one medium orange

2 bigger ripe bananas

1 cup / 240 ml water

1/2 cup prepared quick cooking oats

1/2 cup plain 2% reduced-fat Greek yogurt

Soak your dates for 10 minutes in some water,  before combining everything in your blender and pulsing to make this delicious smoothie.

In barely any time, you now have a great breakfast smoothie or post workout smoothie – the natural sweetness of the dates is the perfect touch to this healthy and filling drink!
