Your Guide To Cookware – Choosing The Right Materials

Enameled Cast Iron:
Experience the power and efficacy of cast iron, with the added benefit of a non reactive, easy clean to surface. Cast iron is a great heat conductor: it maintains temperature, can withstand very high temperatures, and spreads heat evenly.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

Clean using a sponge or a soft nylon scouring pad and hot soapy water and dry immediately afterwards.

Raw Cast Iron:

Have you heard the saying, “If you can’t stand the heat, get out of the kitchen? Well, raw cast iron thrives in the heat!

In addition to being oven safe, cast iron distributes and retains heat evenly and keeps its contents warm, ideal for the perfect sear, everytime.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

Once seasoned,  clean using a sponge or a soft scouring pad and hot soapy water and dry immediately afterwards.

Stainless Steel Cookware:

The crown jewel of cookware, stainless steel retains its popularity for being aesthetically pleasing in any kitchen, durable and long lasting, and easy to clean. 

Stainless steel is made of chromium, steel and nickel. Using chrome gives flatware strength and of rust resistance, while nickel adds additional rust resistance and a silver shimmer and look.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

Dishwasher Safe – Avoid Using Scouring/Rough Scrubbing Sponges.
Do not use cold water on a hot pan – wait until it cools down to wash.

 Non-stick cookware with induction bottom (aluminum body):

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

To clean use a sponge and hot soapy water ONLY after the pan has cooled down, never while the pan is warm or hot, never use abrasive materials or scouring pads. While cooking, only use nylon, silicone or wood utensils and never overheat while empty. In order to protect the non-stick surface, store with a protective felt pad when placing other pans on the top. Never overheat and keep at a maximum temperature of 200 °C (392 °F) or less. If you cook with oil, clean off all of the cooked oil after each use.
