<p>We love tartare! It’s such a fun, easy appetizer to prepare, and when it’s done right, is packed with beautiful and complex flavours!&nbsp;</p>

<p>We’ve got two different recipes today, both really popular tartares: tuna and beef. Here’s how to make delicious fresh tartare recipes at home:</p>

<p><strong><em>Tuna Tartare:</em></strong></p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img fetchpriority="high" decoding="async" width="819" height="1024" src="https://blog.stokesstores.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/08/20220607-0824-819x1024.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-8027" srcset="https://blog.stokesstores.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/08/20220607-0824-819x1024.jpg 819w, https://blog.stokesstores.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/08/20220607-0824-240x300.jpg 240w, https://blog.stokesstores.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/08/20220607-0824-768x960.jpg 768w, https://blog.stokesstores.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/08/20220607-0824-1229x1536.jpg 1229w, https://blog.stokesstores.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/08/20220607-0824-800x1000.jpg 800w, https://blog.stokesstores.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/08/20220607-0824-1000x1250.jpg 1000w, https://blog.stokesstores.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/08/20220607-0824.jpg 1600w" sizes="(max-width: 819px) 100vw, 819px" /></figure>

<p><em>Ingredients:</em></p>

<p>300 grams of sushi grade Tuna, cut into small cubes</p>

<p>1/4 shallots, minced</p>

<p>1/4 mangos, thinly sliced</p>

<p>Wasabi paste</p>

<p>Tamarind Sauce</p>

<p>Soy Sauce</p>

<p>Sesame Oil Oyster Sauce&nbsp;</p>

<p>Chives to garnish</p>

<p>Sesame seeds to garnish</p>

<p><em>Preparation:</em></p>

<p>Start by slicing up your tuna into very small cubes. Once it’s sliced, add it into a bowl with wasabi paste, soy sauce, tamarind sauce, sesame oil oyster sauce, and thinly sliced shallots and manges and finish with sesame seeds and chives. Mix until it’s all incorporated.</p>

<p>We served it on these beautiful crescent moon crackers, but you can serve it on crackers, baguette, or on its own!</p>

<p><strong><em>Beef tartare:</em></strong></p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img decoding="async" width="819" height="1024" src="https://blog.stokesstores.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/08/20220607-0836-819x1024.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-8028" srcset="https://blog.stokesstores.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/08/20220607-0836-819x1024.jpg 819w, https://blog.stokesstores.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/08/20220607-0836-240x300.jpg 240w, https://blog.stokesstores.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/08/20220607-0836-768x960.jpg 768w, https://blog.stokesstores.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/08/20220607-0836-1229x1536.jpg 1229w, https://blog.stokesstores.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/08/20220607-0836-800x1000.jpg 800w, https://blog.stokesstores.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/08/20220607-0836-1000x1250.jpg 1000w, https://blog.stokesstores.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/08/20220607-0836.jpg 1600w" sizes="(max-width: 819px) 100vw, 819px" /></figure>

<p><em>Ingredients:</em></p>

<p>1 lb top round beef</p>

<p>1/4 shallots, minced</p>

<p>4 cornichons, finely chopped</p>

<p>1 teaspoon finely chopped parsley</p>

<p>1 teaspoon dijon mustard</p>

<p>1 teaspoon whole grain mustard</p>

<p>5 tsp worcestershire sauce</p>

<p>½ tsp kosher salt</p>

<p>½ tsp freshly cracked black pepper</p>

<p><em>Preparation:</em></p>

<p>Once you’ve sliced your beef in a fine cubes, add it to a mixing bowl where you add your chopped shallots, cornichons, parsley, worchestire sauce and mustards. Mix together until well incorporated. We scooped these into mini waffle cones for a unique style of serving them &#8211; but this recipe also works perfectly alongside fries or baguette.</p>

<p>Bon Appétit!</p>
