In this recipe, we&#8217;re using red rambo radish, sunflower, and broccoli microgreens to give our smoothie a boost of nutrition.</p>

<p>Ingredients:</p>



<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li>1 frozen banana</li>



<li>1/2 cup frozen strawberries</li>



<li>2 tbsp plain yogurt</li>



<li>Honey to taste</li>



<li>1 cup water</li>



<li>Handful of red rambo radish microgreens</li>



<li>Handful of sunflower microgreens</li>



<li>Handful of broccoli microgreens</li>
</ul>



<p>Instructions:</p>



<ol class="wp-block-list">
<li>Start by blending the frozen fruit, yogurt, and honey in a blender.</li>



<li>Gradually add water to the blender while continuing to blend until the mixture becomes smooth.</li>



<li>Next, add the microgreens to the blender and blend until they are fully incorporated into the mixture.</li>



<li>Pour the smoothie into a glass and enjoy!</li>
</ol>



<p>This smoothie is not only delicious, but it&#8217;s also a great way to incorporate some extra nutrients into your diet. The red rambo radish microgreens are rich in vitamin C, while the sunflower microgreens are a good source of vitamin E. And the broccoli microgreens are packed with antioxidants and other beneficial compounds.</p>

<p>There are tons of different smoothie trends and smoothie bowl recipes out there, and we are always looking for the next best way to enjoy our morning or mid-day smoothie, and still get a great shot for our Instagram #smoothiegoals.<br><br>We came across the concept of layered smoothies and were immediately intrigued! Stacking layers of different smoothie recipes on top of each other, or using toppings like yogurt, dried fruits, nuts and granola, etc, you’re able to create these layered smoothies, almost like a smoothie parfait, if you will.<br><br>These are so great because they not only add some different colours and flavours to your recipe, but it adds some texture so you can get some crunch. The best part is that they&#8217;re entirely customizable to what you prefer, so you decide whether your smoothie will end up needing a straw or a spoon, based on the toppings you choose.<br><br>Here is our recipe for a beautiful layered smoothie:</p>

<p><em>Bottom Layer: </em>Granola &#8211; any granola or even cereal of your choice!<br><em>Middle Layer: </em>We’re adding a different texture by adding a few spoonfuls chia-seed pudding surrounded by slices of a ripe kiwi</p>



<p><em>Top Layer: </em>Kiwi and Strawberry is such a good combination, so we added a strawberry smoothie as our top layer. For your smoothie, you only need 3 ingredients: frozen strawberries, milk (of your choice) and strawberry jam.<br><br><strong>Preparation:</strong><strong><br></strong><strong><br></strong>In a tall <a href="https://www.blog.stokesstores.com/en/diamond-highball-glass-set-of-4.html">glass</a>, start by adding your bottom layer of granola or cereal to create your base.<br>Cut your kiwi into thin triangle slices and fan all around the edge of your glass.Add your chia-seed pudding (you can also substitute with yogurt if you want a similar texture) and ensure that it’s touching your granola layer.<br>For your final layer for your strawberry smoothie, <a href="https://www.blog.stokesstores.com/en/thinkkitchen-professional-high-power-blender.html">blend</a> together your frozen strawberries, milk and your secret ingredient, strawberry jam and pour your top layer onto your beautiful layered smoothie.</p>

Here is our recipe for a green smoothie bowl that ensures you add a bit of wellness to your week.</p>

<p>2 medium ripe bananas (sliced, frozen)</p>



<p>1 cup fresh or frozen mixed berries (we recommend using&nbsp; strawberries/raspberries for a greener coloured smoothie)</p>



<p>2 large handfuls spinach<br>1 small handful kale (stems removed)</p>



<p>1 1/2 &#8211; 2 cups milk (or unsweetened non-dairy milk)</p>



<p>1 Tbsp flaxseed meal</p>



<p>2 Tbsp salted creamy almond or peanut butter<br><br><strong>Toppings (Optional):</strong></p>



<p>Roasted unsalted sunflower seeds</p>



<p><a href="https://minimalistbaker.com/aquafaba-granola-oil-free/">Granola</a> &#8211; of your choice</p>



<p>Raw or roasted nuts (almonds, pecans, walnuts, etc.)</p>



<p>Shredded unsweetened coconut</p>

<p><strong><em>Preparation:</em></strong></p>



<p>Add all smoothie ingredients to a <a href="https://www.blog.stokesstores.com/en/thinkkitchen-ultimate-sante-blender.html">blender </a>and blend until creamy and there are no lumps. Add more liquid (milk or water) to thin it out if needed.</p>



<p>Taste and adjust flavor as needed.</p>
