<p>If you’re an adventurous seafood fan, we’re willing to bet you’ve got a thing for octopus. But have you tried making it at home? *Cue shocked face* We know it can seem daunting, but the Quickpot is the easiest way to make the tastiest octopus with the best texture. Forget chewy octopus, this one is cooked to perfection!</p>

<p>Don’t let the task at hand intimidate you—this recipe is actually super easy and you’ll only need a few simple ingredients.</p>

<p>Ready to get started? Here’s what you’ll need:</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img fetchpriority="high" decoding="async" width="1024" height="1024" src="https://blog.stokesstores.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/06/20220502-8039-1024x1024.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-7896" srcset="https://blog.stokesstores.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/06/20220502-8039-1024x1024.jpg 1024w, https://blog.stokesstores.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/06/20220502-8039-150x150.jpg 150w, https://blog.stokesstores.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/06/20220502-8039-300x300.jpg 300w, https://blog.stokesstores.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/06/20220502-8039-768x768.jpg 768w, https://blog.stokesstores.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/06/20220502-8039-1536x1536.jpg 1536w, https://blog.stokesstores.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/06/20220502-8039-500x500.jpg 500w, https://blog.stokesstores.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/06/20220502-8039-600x600.jpg 600w, https://blog.stokesstores.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/06/20220502-8039-700x700.jpg 700w, https://blog.stokesstores.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/06/20220502-8039-800x800.jpg 800w, https://blog.stokesstores.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/06/20220502-8039-585x585.jpg 585w, https://blog.stokesstores.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/06/20220502-8039-1000x1000.jpg 1000w, https://blog.stokesstores.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/06/20220502-8039-640x640.jpg 640w, https://blog.stokesstores.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/06/20220502-8039.jpg 2000w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<p><br><strong><em>Ingredients:</em></strong></p>

<p>2 lbs octopus, cleaned</p>

<p>1 lemon, sliced</p>

<p>2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil</p>

<p>1 cup water</p>

<p><strong><em>Preparation:</em></strong></p>

<p>Put water, octopus, and half of the lemon slices in your <a href="https://www.stokesstores.com/en/thinkkitchen-14-function-quickpot-6-l.html">Quickpot</a>. Close the lid and turn the valve to a Sealing position. Press the &#8220;Pressure Cook&#8221; button and set the timer to 15 minutes on High Pressure.</p>

<p>When the Quickpot is done cooking, quick-release the steam, open the lid, and drain the octopus.</p>

<p>Slice the octopus into strips, and while you&#8217;re slicing it, cut off and discard the hard beak that&#8217;s in the center of the octopus body.</p>

<p>Then, place the octopus on the grill for about 3 minutes, or until you get a nice char on the pieces.</p>

<p>Season with a pinch of salt, ground black pepper, and smoked paprika before serving with the rest of the lemon slices.</p>

<p>See? Easier than you thought! We love this recipe served on thinly sliced potatoes, with roasted vegetables, or alongside fried rice.
