Get Inspired! A Table Inspired by Autumn Colours

Although we’re already in November and transitioning into winter, remnants of Autumn still linger around us. There are still beautiful red and brown leaves falling and lining the streets just waiting to be crunched or raked away.

This beautiful table setting is inspired by the richness and warmth of these autumnal colours – perfectly repurposed for a Holiday table. We’re pairing deep colours that envelope you in a sense of warmth and comfort, without compromising style and sophistication.

Here, we really rely on table linens and using different colours and textures to set the tone of your table. We’re mixing and matching the Calmante placemats in the beautiful and luxurious Merlot colour, and layering it with the Calmante beige napkins to add a subtle, gold shimmer. Finally, before placing your plate on top, we want to add another placemat – this time our faux leather tan placemat, in a way so just one side is peeking out from the right side of your plate. Playing with textures and deep, earth tones in this way, creates richness and depth on the table.

While we’ve opted for an elegant flatware set, we don’t really want to distract from the effect we’re trying to create with the table linens and dinnerware set. Our Tahiti Dinnerware Set comes in multiple colours but here we went with the Mocha set to maintain the brown and red theme across the table. We’ve added our new small Persona plates and drinkware that still have the same colours but its modern and artistic designs are a fun way to add some personality and flair to the table.

Once you’ve set the table and the look is complete, look to see where you can add accents that complement the tablescape without making it seem busy or breaking from the theme.

In the spirit of keeping the Autumnal colours, we recommend adding a touch of copper! A little extra sparkle and gleam from these beautiful moscow mule glasses ties everything together, like a bow on top of a gift.

We hope that you find elements to be inspired by from this table, whether you’re inspired by the different textures or artistic patterns, or the deep and rich colour palette we took from Autumn leaves, show us your Holiday table!
