Strawberry Breeze Smoothie

It’s smoothie season! After a lot of eggnog and spiked coffees, January seems to be the month where everyone turns on their blender and starts making smoothies to reset!

If you want to get back into the habit of lighter, healthier snacks that are very nutritious – smoothies are the best way to go.

Here’s how to make our “Strawberry Breeze” smoothie:

Ingredients & Preparation:

10 sliced strawberries

1 small kiwi

1 big, ripe banana

1 cup milk
½ cup water
3 dates
6 big purple raisins

1/2 cup prepared quick cooking oats

Soak your dates for 10 minutes in some water,  before combining everything in your blender and pulsing to make this delicious smoothie.

This smoothie is the perfect sweet treat when you want to make something special for yourself. The dates lend a natural sweetness and the classic strawberry/banana/kiwi combination never fails to make you smile from the first sip. Enjoy!
