Your Juicing Guide to a Healthy Year

Juicing is  not only a quick option when you’re on the go, but it’s also good for you. It’s a great way to include more veggies in your diet this year. Juicing has never been easier with our juicer you can easily make your own! It grinds your fruit and vegetables then filters the juice through a super fine mesh. Depending on the fruit and veggies you use, you can get different health benefits ranging from boosting your energy to boosting your immune system.

This is the perfect addition to any healthy nutrition plan. It’s great for breakfast or after a workout as it allows for the immediate absorption of all the nutrients from produce. It also lets you enjoy vegetables that you wouldn’t normally eat whole. It’s important to remember that you still need to get your daily amount of fiber and protein otherwise you will end up feeling hungry and loosing muscle mass.

Many juices use green vegetables for their great benefits, unfortunately, some people don’t particularly enjoy the taste of some green veggies. Most green vegetables have a dominating bitter flavor (for example: kale, celery, mizuna greens, chard, and dandelion greens). If you’re not a fan of the bitterness, spinach is a great option that’s just as healthy but doesn’t have an overpowering taste.

Aside from the color, you won’t even know that this drink has a green veggie in it. Along with a handful of spinach, add an apple, one lemon and a handful of blueberries.  The lemon masks any spinach flavor and the apple and blueberries add sweet and tartness to it. It is the perfect starter juicer, especially if you are afraid of that green earthy flavor most green drinks have.

If green still isn’t for you, there are still many options that are just as healthy.  This next one is called the Total Health Booster because it’s packed with Vitamin A, B, C and E to fuel your whole body. It also does wonders for your skin and bones. To make this drink even better, it’s super easy to make with only 3 ingredients: 1 medium apple, 2 medium soft pears, and a ½ a cup of cherries.

This next drink is perfect to re-energize yourself- especially after a workout. Combine 2 medium oranges, ¼ cup of whole, raw almonds, 1 small sweet potato, 1 medium apple and ½ cup of water and voilà! Nothing is added to this drink without a reason, they all carry benefits:  the almonds help build and repair muscle and potassium, while also balancing your electrolytes and fluids. The other ingredients provide a mix of carbohydrates, vitamins, fiber, as well as antioxidants.Red Juice
